Faustus
Finished the steps and got the upside down Windows logo so I decided to start over from the start and make sure I followed all steps. After repartitioning I can't install OSX again. The 45gig partition says it cannot install on it because it doesn't have 15.6 gigs of space. Help! Used the PRAM reset to I guess clear the EFI. Hopefully that will let me start over. Checking now... edit: It did not! HELP! Faustus
Problem found but no solution. Somehow my drive didn't repartition with GUID.... BUT there is no option button to fix it! Colonel
I had a similar problem. I erased the disk completely. I put in the OSx86 DVD and made the two partitions. Then I installed OSx86 on the second one. When that was done, I ran the Windows installer and installed Windows on the first partition. Faustus
Thanks, I just fixed it about the time you posted. SOLVED... for me at least. Make the drive into One partition again and select the format to be FREE SPACE. Then click repartition. If it gives an error ignore. Restart the computer. Creat the partitions again and it will do GUID properly this time. WOOWOO.
