AK23
Hey guys - I searched the forums, but I can't seem to find anything. Here's my setup: Atom D945gclf SATA hard drive (pata with adapter) PATA dvd Generic Boot disky (the kabyl bumby one) (ISO original with project kexts) 10.5 install disc I boot into the syslinux disk, swap in the 10.5, it gets to the pinwheel and just stays there. What am I missing? Does the hard drive have to be formatted a certain way? Is there anything I need to disable in the atom bios?
UnaClocker
Get iAtkos or iDeneb, you're trying to do this the too hard way.
AK23
I eventually picked up kalyway 10.5.2 and that seemed to do the trick. However, I'd like to be able to update from apple updated rather than have to wait for a hacked version to come out. Can I still do this as long as I have the vanilla kernel?
