Torretto
Recently i applied the 10.5.3 update which worked fine, but after i rebooted, the touchpad and keyboard did not work, such as it did after the 10.5.2 update. However i forgot to backup the necessary kexts prior to the update, namely AppleACPIPlatform.kext. In a brief lapse of judgement i copied the one from my desktop. Now my system kernel panics everytime it tries to boot. It displays the message "Unable to find driver for this platform \"ACPI\" The -f boot flag gives a different error message, but still kernel panics. I have tried connecting the hard drive to my desktop and copying the kext from the Kalyway install disc, but the problem persists. Anybody know what i can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
