Jason Jones
I just installed Kalyway 10.5.2, and it boots to the Welcome(in 502384 languages) video, and then goes to the account setup and such. Well, I have a PS2 keyboard and USB mouse, so my mouse works but not my keyboard. Ive read online that I need to install a different kext, but cant do that because I cant log in without typing in account info. Any ideas? Jason Jones
Considering I spent days downloading 10.5.2 kalyway, and just spent 2 days downloading leo4all (waste of time), i'm reallllly in no mood to torrent more things. There has to be a way to get this to work. I just don't know of it lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/127574-just-installed-kalyway-1052-cannot-install-kext/#findComment-902195 Share on other sites

MacNutty
Try booting with -x option (safe boot) and see whether your keyboard and mouse are working or not. If still not then you need a proper kext installed to get them working. Jason Jones
I just tried it with another PS2 keyboard, and tried it on safe boot. No such luck. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a USB keyboard, even though I completely love my current keyboard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/127574-just-installed-kalyway-1052-cannot-install-kext/#findComment-902277 Share on other sites
