loopus
i wonder if, in my dual boot xp and osx system, just booting in xp and copyng all the files from the hsf mac partition , using macdrive will work as a reliable backup...or can i use acronis true image or similar to copy the whole partition...? in Osx time machine is off course the default way of backing up..but what will happen if the system wont boot anymore and cannot have access to time machine? i dont think i will be able to boot from an external usb drive backed up by time machine.... thanks if somebody knows any good suggestion!! matteo
Lord_Richard_2
You can always boot to the install disc, install then use time machine. You could also use a bartpe disc with selfimage or other software to copy an image of each partition or the entire disc for backup.
