Im using version 10.5.2 on PC intel USB Adapter 802.11g WG111v3 (Realtek's RTL8187 Chipset) NETGEAR Detected as an Ethernet Controller with RTL8187L Drivers from HERE, and working perfectly! bluearchtop Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 I got mine working.. the trick was I had to install it on my main drive rather than on a 2nd partition. Not sure why, but that made the difference. Maybe that will help someone else. Your system stores hardware kexts in /System/Library/Extensions on the Drive where OS X is installed.
