Hi everyone,

I have installed my hackintosh a few days ago with this guide: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=86167 (the 4.2 guide for the advanced user) and with the kexts for my graphics card, built in sound and my network card.

Everything is working perfectly (fast boot time too :)), but just 1 problem: My 2 DVD drivers (2 DVD+R DL) aren't recognized by my hackintosh :s.

These are my specs:

- Intel DQ965GF motherboard (which is highly compatible with leopard by the way).

- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

- 4 GB DDR2 memory

- An TSSTCorp DVD+R DL drive (connected with IDE)

- An Plextor DVD+R DL drive (also connected with IDE)

- D-Link DGE-528T ethernet card

- Ati Radeon X1950 pro Graphics card

- 3 HDD: 1 for Hackintosh (500 GB), 1 for Windows Vista SP1 (128 gb) and 1 for Data and Backup (500 GB). These are all connected with SATA.

Before I installed my retail Hackintosh, I've installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and my IDE Dvd drives were working on that install. Can I take some kexts from this install and add it to my retail (but won't that give problems if I install updates :s?) or can my DVD Drives work if i install an IDE to SATA connector?
