There are a ton of suggestions in this forum of machines to get. However, with out more information about what you intend to build we cannot help out. If you are just starting out, I recommend ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards with Intel chipsets. Nvidia graphics cards seem to have the best support in the OSX86 world.
