Inspiron 9400/E1705 Anyway to get HiRes Video

So I have just spent the last 5 hours doing multiple incarnations of Kalway 10.5.2 onto my new Inspiron 9400/E1705 Dual Core 2Ghz Laptop

 

Thanks to the forums here and the search abilities I have got a 99.9% perfect install

 

Can't get past the 1024X768 Video res limitation, have tried most things posted, no luck, can anyone provide some detailed feedback, even if its "NOT GOING TO WORK" just need some feedback.
