Couldent seem to find this anywhere else but I have the 4 CD Version install of OSX86 and am wondering if I can somehow apply the patch to these cds because i dont have a dvd burner. Or alternatively can anyone think of a way I can install it not from DVD, when I try to extract the dvd iso it only shows 128kb of files but the MD5 checks out. Anyway is there a generic patch that can be applied to an ISO or files added to an ISO of the first bootable cd that will allow me to boot this install from CDS? Or any other way I can do this install without using a burned DVD.

{censored} Im sorry I just noticed a thread that said this forum isnt for questions, but another one said to search then read THEN ask, and thats what I did. Where should i post this.

I have never heard of installation with CD's. If i were you i would invest in one of these:

and save yourself the time and trouble.

You could always try and track down a friend's computer with a DVD drive. Pop your HDD in there and install it. This isn't the best call though, because if you ever need to reinstall, you'll be dependant on that friend's computer.
