MacWilliamson
Hi, newbie here . I'm running 10.5.5 (now) on a Dell D620 lappy having (somewhat ) successfully upgraded from 10.5.1. The problem is that i lost the use of the laptop's keyboard . Any idea or a kext i can use to get running again. Thanks Trevor Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/126981-updated-1051-to-1055-now-now-keyboard/ Share on other sites

urgonah8me
erm well when I had this problem I just put in a usb keyboard and used that until I got my laptops keyboard working again. Maybe you can get like an on screen keyboard if you dont have a USB one? Boot from the install DVD same as you're going to install, then go to utility and launch a terminal Your drive will be then mounted in /Volumes/your_volume_name/ then copy it to /Volumes/your_volume_name/System/Library/Extension Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/126981-updated-1051-to-1055-now-now-keyboard/#findComment-897978 Share on other sites
