mrmidnick

We don't have plan to support RTL8187SE MAC OSX driver at current stage. Sorry for your inconvenience. Best regards, Jason ----- Original Message ----- From: "B.O." <xxxxxxxx@yyyyyyy> To: "Wlanfae" <wlanfae@realtek.com> Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2008 9:44 PM Subject: RTL8187SE MiniPCI wireless Mac OS X drivers Dear Realtek Staff, I am writing to ask whether you have any plans to develop OS X drivers for your RTL8187SE miniPCI chipset, and if not, to kindly encourage you to do so. These cards are included in mini-laptops like the MSI Wind, which have been shown to be amenable and popular for installing modified Mac OS X, but unfortunately require third-party cards to have a working wlan connectivity, which might dissuade people considering these laptops for ultra-portable Mac systems. If it were possible to get working drivers, I am sure a lot of people would appreciate it and improve their opinion of Realtek's already outstanding customer service even more, possibly even driving sales of associated products. Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, ~B.O.
