I must have messed up something when I was typing and now when I boot it says missing boot.plist file..How do I restore it without having to reinstall the whole os86 DVD? joneSi Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 OK, so I did a search and came up with this topic. I think that my com.apple.Boot.plist file is corrupted because if I press ? for boot options, it gives me a bunch of characters and at one point if I keep pressing the spacebar, it says 'amdenabler' etc vertically. Is this a symptom of the amd enabler or do I have a corrupt file? Simply make another and drag it to /Libary/Preferences/SystemConfiguration <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </plist> If that doesnt work, ill attach one for you. Im not sure of the legal side though.
