daftdom
Hi Guys, I have a MSI P35 Diamond with a Q6600 CPU but its only showing with one core. Installed with Kalyway 10.5.2, vanilla kernal and made sure i did not select the cpus=1 patch. I do have to install the SSE2_Jas104_ACPI_APIC patch though, otherwise it will not boot. Is it the SSE2 patch that could be causing this problem? Should I get another board? I dont want to because I really like this board but the BIOS is {censored}! :-( Any recomendations? I need something which will run my P35 Q6600 and my DDR3 RAM. Gujal
Yep that motherboard has a flawed BIOS. You can ask/request/beg Kabyl to modify the BIOS for you. he has done modifications to many flavours of MSI-P35 but I dont see Diamond. daftdom
Thanks Gujal, I'll send him a PM. I don't mind paying him for his time. Hopefully he might be able to sort me out. :-) Fingers Crossed Thanks, Dom Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/126408-msi-p35-diamond-with-q6600-only-showing-one-core/#findComment-894623 Share on other sites
