adamsweeting
Hey guys... I updated to 10.5.5 today (install method & hardware in sig) but now I've got a strange problem when I boot. If I boot normally it looks like it's just about to give me my desktop but then the screen goes completely blue, and is unresponsive to pressing keyboard keys (e.g. eject or dashboard). So I have to hard reset the machine. If I boot with Boot132 CD in the DVD drive it boots completely fine?! - I'm using it now, and it's working 100% fine @ 10.5.5 Any ideas? adamsweeting
OK.... Got it sorted now. Just had to remove the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext - Didn't think I had to do that with the Retail install method. Oh Well!

markmcvain
I have the same booting problem as both of you guys after upgrade. I can't figure out how to find and, if found, how to remove the appleintelcpupowermanagment.kext. Any help on what to do would be great. I just don't know how to play around in the directories after the Darwin prompt. Thanks!
