ihatevistamore Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Hi I have just tried to boot os x from a DVD which i burned earlier with just the iso image on (kalyway), but there is just an underscore blinking on the top left corner for about 15 secs then it boots into windows! Cause i am burning an image dvd now, i am right in thinking that was my mistake? mushr00m Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 no burning an image disc is ok. i meant that your computer doesnt check IF there is a dvd inside. you can set in your bios the order of boot devices, like: first check for cd, then for bootable usb stick, then boot from hd. make sure that the cd check is before the hd check.
