MoonScryer
Just tried 10.5.5 on my Inspiron Mini running iatkos 10.5.4 with chameleon bootloader and it had a kernel panic about a 3rd of the way into the update. Restoring from time machine now If I run this while sleep 1 ; do rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext ; done before the update will this delete the kext which is causing the panic? Yes. When you so that command, do it at the sudo -s terminal prompt and LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN. It will continue to run - it sits and waits basicly. When the update is done and says "Restart" then you can kill it with ctrl^c Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/126228-mac-os-1055-out/page/2/#findComment-893226 Share on other sites
