MX2k2
I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and i already reached the part where you have to select the keyboard. Now, it let me press the keys beside left shift, then key beside right shift, it says keyboard identified, so i proceeded, it then prompts me to select the select ANSI which is the standard 101 key, then i continue, then prompts to region, selected US, continue, then prompts me to select keyboard layout, so i selected US, then prompts me to select an option for transfering info, i selected do not transfer my information. so i clicked continue.. after a minute.. it returns again to the keyboard identification process, it's endless loop... any solution? robin5693
I've tried both JaS 10.5.4 Client/server and Kalyway 10.5.2, and I have the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas so far?
robin5693
Krazubu from the IRC chat room said that you should boot using the -s switch, which brings you to a terminal prompt. After which you type: mount -uw / After that, you type: touch /private/var/db/.applesetupdone Then you have to set up root's password by typing: passwd root And enter whatever password you like. After you're done all this, type 'exit' and it'll boot into OS X. Good luck!
SquireSCA
Or, simply unplug your USB keyboard and plug in an old PS2 keyboard and voila, done. Worked for me.
