Le-Bebop
I have an E2180 on a P5W-DH Deluxe, with the original air cooler. When I boot, the Bios says about 45°C. Under Léo, Temperature monitor says about 50°C when the two cores are 90% Idle (just iTunes is running...). But when I start VMware Fusion and an XP inside, Temperature increased until 80°C. (83°C is the max recorded temperature).... . then decreases when the VM is running, about 65°C.. Any experience with this proco under léo?? candykane
It could be 2 things 1 your cooling blok is not seated right, or you have a hot cpu. i have a Q6600 that ran verry hot. first i experimented with the nextstep tech yes you could use the powermangement package the laptopguys are using it works well. but you will also nead a kernel to match. but in the end ... it stil ran 60 celsius under stress so i got myself a new cooler and now run my Q6600(2,4 @3GHZ-50 celcius)

pax1234
I got Max 63C on CPU stress test, all 4 cores 100% for 24 hours, when I was doing the burn in test. No problems.
