Well, i installed Mac OS X (10.4.6) today, but whenever i boot i seem to be hanging at the blue screen with a pointer on it. And no, i haven't even got in to the system to mess something up yet. Should i try Leopard instead or try another version of Tiger?

Oh yeah, my pc specs are the following;

Intel P4 HT @ 3.00 GhZ

1024 MB of ram

nVidia GeForce 7600 GS.

Thanks.

Well it's probably a graphics driver issue. Did you install natit/titan/nvinject....etc? Anyway, I'd recommend that you install leopard because it's newer and supports more hardware since most of the community is focused on developing solutions that work with it.

If i'd only know what that means.. i haven't even got in the OS yet, it just hangs there.

What is your motherboard brand and model.......motherboard Northbridge and Southbridge chipsets.......audio chipset/codec.......? More details of your system are needed for anyone to offer any help!...... :(
