Hi guys,

I'm installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on my dell d620: I'm close to the end, but I get stuck with no real clue (neither on the machine, nor on my friend, google) :

The machine is a core2duo, nvidia Quadro 110M, 2GO RAM, wifi intel 3945, 80Gb SATA HDD

I selected

- vanilla kernel

- no nvidia drivers at this time

the install runs fine, then the machine reboots, displays the welcome movie, I select my country and keyboard layout, then I choose not to import anything from another Mac, click Continue... and I'm sent back to the welcome video, country selection, etc.

I didn't find any relevant clue on the web, however I'm not sure I used the right search terms.

Does anybody have a clue/idea ?

Thanks in advance :)

Just enable Serial port in BIOS and it will take you through the setup screen. This happens because there is no usable network connection. enabling serial port makes a PPP stack and this enables the completion of the welcome wizard.

Dell D620 has Broadcom 5752 Gigabit ethernet built in which is NOT supported

And your laptop has Intel 3945 which is also NOT supported. Yeah, there are beta drivers for Intel Wireless, but they are not perfect yet.
