Hey

I recently installed JaS 10.5.4 onto my Asus F8P-X2B (Core 2 Duo 2.1Ghz, 3 GB Ram, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400) and it installed correctly.

But i have a problem.

Every time i try to boot into the os using the laptop display the screen doesn't work after it's finished loading the OS (when I should boot into the desktop)

The only way i can get it working is through a external display.

If anyone has a solution please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Try unplugging your external monitor, and reboot.. with default graphics settings, that defaulted back to the Laptop monitor for me..

You then need to look up NVCAP values for your specific graphics card, I used NVKush.. there's loads of topics on here about it.

Hope this helps,

Chris

NVKush is for nVidia cards only.

ATI Radeon HD Mobility cards do not work properly yet, this information is available in other posts on this very forum. There is no solution in the immediate future either.
