SniperDaws
Is there a laptop working built in wireless that works with Leopard ? Obviously apart from the macbook etc ? im after getting a new laptop and i basically want it to slap XP and Leopard on but im concerned as i notice a lot of people dont seem to have the wireless working and its a high priority for me, id love to have a macbook but i just cannot afford or justify spending that much on a laptop. If anyone has any pointers as to a high compatible laptop for under £400 then please can you let me know. Thank you. Gujal
Most laptops without "Intel Centrino" badge and have wireless generally have Broadcom Wireless which is supported by OSX out of the box. For e.g., Dell laptops without the "Intel Centrino" Badge have "Dell Wireless" built in which is based on Broadcom chipset Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/125527-which-laptop-for-built-in-wireless/#findComment-887601 Share on other sites
Adnan Khan
Well I read about it but haven't tried. U can search on ebay for wifi card which has mac drivers. probably a good idea if ur hardware doesn't support. I ordered one for myself for 14£, lets see!
