kmikase Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Hi, I don't know if it is the best section to ask, but i don't know where else i should ask for this: So, i've installed leopard on my Asus M50SV (Kalyway 10.5.4) and on a Eee Pc 1000H (Ideneb V1.1). OSX is stable on both computers after having installed working drivers, so i decided to make images of the hard drives with the disk utility to keep a rescue. I would like to know if it is possible (and how) to extract the launcher part of OSX' installer. Because on the eeepc there is not DVD drive, so i would like to put the launcher on USB key and boot from it, then once in the installer i can load the disk utility to restore the image. Any ideas ?
