I dont know if it is any help, but if you are like me running Core 2 Quad then download from THIS TREAD

the 50 meg package inside in the vanilla folder you will find CHUD.pkg install it, then Open Finder and click on your boot drive. From there, navigate to the following folders: Developer > Extras > PreferencesPanes and install "Processor.prefPane" (for all users)

This should get the trick working, however Iam not sure if it will apply to AMD processors if you are using one.

I'm going to do a fresh install because i messed something up on the drive i was using (marvell drivers) wont boot now even after a repair install. I have a new 7200.11 500 gb coming tuesday im just going to use that and start from scratch :)

Alright got Leopard installed on new drive. System monitor shows 4 threads so i am using all 4 cores but for some reason about this mac only shows 1.... as long as i am using all the cores i dont care what about this mac says

Okay thought i had all 4 cores working together until i went to convert a movie i guess i was wrongly reading the activity screen still only have one core and I would love to see what this thing would do with 3 more cores...

anybody at all gotten this to work?
