Hi guys,

I am completely new to osx86 project. I am a student doing my masters in visual effects. I needed to use Final cut pro and since i own a pc, i cant seem to install it. Which made me think about installing Mac OS x into my Dell Precision M6300. I dont have much technical knowledge about this at all.

Here is the config of the system:

OS: Vista Ultimate 64 bit

Processor: Core2Extreme x9000

RAM:4 GB

Hard Disk:320GB Partitioned into C and D.

C has 20 GB-Vista is installed here.

D is a data store.

Graphics card : Quadro FX 3600M

How should I just go about installing OS X into my PC without losing my Vista boot?

Thanks,

TG.

Well usually darwin or chamillion bootloaders are the best, yet not easy to make them work.

Try EASYBCD a free software that will modify your Vista bootloader and will allow the OSX to boot.

Thanks man, Ok lemme do some reading up and see if i can find a way to use EASYBCD. I have no clue! Any reliable tutorial on how to dual boot with EASYBCD?
