macprodan
i assume you talking about a 10.4.4 or 10.4.5 installation.. i hear from good sources that if your cpu has SSE3 then it is being used even if not reported so by the system profiler. MacApprentice
it is used even if the emulator is installed, cause the emulator trap illegal instructions if you got a SSE2 cpu then it emulates SSE3. if you got SSE3 it won't trap anything so it'll work natively. Bearcat
this software is for mac oshttp://www.alias.com/eng/products-services...index_mac.shtml and what is rosetta?? thx!!! Yes the software is for mac os. But it was compiled for the PPC platform not the Intel platform. Therefore it is running in a CPU instruction set translation layer called rosetta, which is part of mac os x for intel machines. This is why the programs are running slow, not because of SSE3.
