The leopard disks included with imac cannot be used as they are more like restore disks. You need a retail packaged leopard disk for trying with the boot-132 method. Boot-132 method will work if you have near mac like hardware (Intel Core2 CPU, Intel Chipset based motherboard, such as mine).

However, you still would have to tweak your display, network etc with drivers later on. There is no such thing as put DVD, install and voila! leopard unless it is Apple Hardware.
