Tangra Posted September 2, 2008 Share Posted September 2, 2008 I could manage full working dual boot system on my MSI GX700 Laptop Core2 Duo 2.1Ghz using Leopard Kalyway 10.5.2. During install I must check/enable the Patch named "Boot_with_cpus=1_flag" otherwise my machine can not boot. I use Vanilla kernel which supports Core 2 - right? But when I enable the patch "Boot_with_cpus=1_flag" then in the System Profiler the machine uses only 1 core. Is there any way to enable the two cores after the boot or something like that ?
