kinkster Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I believe the new ones don't have the glue but it would still be very hard. Iv tried it myself on the first gen iPhone, and it's incredibly difficult to not mess it up, glue or not. You'd still end up ripping out the rubber lining on the side that holds the glass in place(you cant see it unless the glass is out) and you'd still probably break the LCD itself, or press on it and make the color/brightness all weird in some places. Not worth it. Just have apple replace it, or if its an old gen one not with att you might want to just send it in to one of those places that takes broken electronics.
