davidhimself
I successfully installed leopard with iatkos v.4, everything is working fine. However, I tried installing iWork '08, it installs just fine, but when I try using either pages, numbers or keynote, it just keeps not responding, it just wouldnt start. I downloaded a different iWork file, just in case the first one was corrupted, but it keep on doing the same thing. Any ideas on what might be happening? Any possible software incopatibilities? davidhimself
Hi, thanks for your answer. Quartz extreme is not supported. I have an ATI Radeon 9250 256MB.
davidhimself
Is there by any chance any relation between quartz extreme not being enabled and the fact that iWork is not working?
Beerkex'd
It's possible. A lot of programs won't work without QE/CI (hardware accelerated video) enabled.
veamon
That is exactly the problem. I had a {censored} graphics card, iPhoto would load pictures, iMovie didnt work. Replaced the video card with one that I could get QE supported on, works fine now. This is the card I ordered. Cheap, does what I want. 10.5.3 detected it without any extra installs, 10.5.2 required the NVKush package (PM me if you need it). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130188
davidhimself
Thanks for your answers. Unfortunately I cant replace my graphic card (Im a little short on cash). Are there any drivers for ATI cards that might enable my card to support QE? Is there any other way around this?
