z2daj Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 i have a Dell Inspiron 530 tower with these specs: Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz processor 2GB RAM Realtek on-board audio (not working) 256MB geForce 8400GS US Robotics MAXg PCI card 500GB SATA HD Kalyway 10.5.2 (updated 10.5.3) with vanilla kernel the only thing i can't get to work is the audio card, i've tried absolutely EVERYTHING to try to get this thing to work, and yet not audio... iTunes doesn't even play audio files at all, it locks up on 0:00 once you press the play button. wifi worked out of the box thankfully, so if ANYONE out there can help me with this on-board audio situation...
