E-Chris
I can get basic audio (all I need) to work with my onboard ACL883 chipset by using the Taruga's AppleHDA Patcher v1.20. The problem is that every time I reboot, I lose my audio and the card is no longer is listed in the "Sound" section of system preferences. The only way I've found to fix this is by deleting the AppleHDA.kext, restarting, and then re-installing the AppleHDA patcher. (I have to restart, deleting and re-installing doesn't work). I've tried deleting the Extensions.mkext and Cache file/folder but that hasn't made a difference. I even checked to make sure the AppleHDA.kext file was the same after the reboot (when I lose sound), it was. Anybody know what I might be losing sound when I reboot, and if there is a way to fix this problem?
