Dlink DFE - 530TX on 10.4.11

heyy all,

 

i've recently updated from 10.4.8 to 10.4.11 and now my network card(D-link DFE-530TX) no longer works.

 

It shows up as built - in ethernet in system profiler, but when i go to network in system preferences the "Built - in ethernet" is grayed out and i can't select it.

 

Can anyone help me please??

 

by the way, i have tried to delete networkinterfaces.plist in /Library/prefernces and it is still grayed out
