FrankOS_Scripting
Hum, format your 18 gb partition in FAT32 and after, try to start the installation. And run Disk Utility then. If it's doesn't work, use GParted live cd for trying format to HFS... Gparted here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123137-create-hfs-partition/#findComment-871086 Share on other sites

FrankOS_Scripting
Yep, it's possible. Everything is possible. But for casual check up, can you post your config of your Hackintosh? Or put it right through your sig's. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123137-create-hfs-partition/#findComment-872100 Share on other sites
poopmonkey
All you do is format to Fat32 then go to disk utility and click on the partition you just made and press erase, set it to +HFS journaled. After it is done the installer should easily recognize the partition. BTW, I use Acronis Disk Suite to make my partitions. I've formated as FAT32 with Disk Management from Windows, then HFS+ with Disk Utility. Thanks for helping me.
