daskog Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I installed latest JAS 10.5.4 some days ago but managed to mess the install up some how, and i tried to make a second install but i could not get the boot loader to work again! strange huh. Anyway i put in my iATKOS 10.5.4 that always works no problems in installing at least. So i install Houdini from Sidefx (a 3D soft) (you can download the free apprentice version from their site). After the installation is done i try to launch it but it only bounces in the Dock with a crash report! Try an other kernel (for your OS X Version) Also geekbench (didnt crash, but complains NO64 Bit System) show you that kernel problem. I has same problem, but with C2D CPU, i run now orig. It's the following: /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks /ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libJPEG.dylib: no matching architecture in universal wrapper /usr/local/lib/libJPEG.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture try the following command: lipo -info /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks /ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libJPEG.dylib Architectures in the fat file: /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libJPEG.dylib are: ppc i386 Maybe this is only a problem on iATKOS? I also experience this problem with iATKOS when trying to enable Leopard's PHP, iBench and GeekBench 64-bit when running on 64-bit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
InsanelyOne Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 I think this definitely has something to do with iATKOS. They seemed to have stripped out a bunch of stuff.
