Abcmsaj Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 When booting the disc, I get this message: SAM Multimedia READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x03, ASC = 0x3e, ASCQ = 0x02. If noone can help me with this, can they help me go from Kalyway 10.5.2 ComboUpdate to Kalyway 10.5.3? I get a blue screen on boot after I install 10.5.3 ComboUpdate. Thanks. To get help answer these questions: What is your computer model if branded?......laptop or desktop?.....motherboard model and motherboard chipset?......CPU Intel or AMD and what model?.......HDDs are they SATA or PATA?.......DVDRW is(are) SATA or PATA?......keyboard AND mouse are USB or PS/2...... I asked for all that information as the SAM error (which as you say is a DVDRW/DVd related error) is not his only problem/question......his 1st Q about SAM error related to wanting to install iDeneb and his 2nd Q was If noone can help me with this, can they help me go from Kalyway 10.5.2 ComboUpdate to Kalyway 10.5.3? .......to help with this more information is needed IMHO unless one is a mind-reader.......
