Hi.

I bought a wired Apple Keyboard and I have a problem: all of a sudden, all the USB devices stop working, like if they were disconnected, and stop being recognized by the machine. With this I lose my keyboard and my internet, since I'm using an USB Wireless Adapter.

Anyone knows what might be the problem?

Jantunes.

P.S: I remind you that this started happening when I installed the Apple keyboard and I don't know if the same occurs if I don't use it.

P.P.S: I'll be out for 2 weeks so sorry if I don't answer you quickly.

No answers? btw, I said something wrong on the previous post. The only thing that also disconnects at the same time as the keyboard is the network adaptor. The rest continues working fine. Could this be some driver problem? This doesn't happen with my PC keyboard.

Please, help me. I have to decide if a keep the keyboard or if I'm going to return it to the shop.

I'd like to say that i've got the same problem :laser:

I've bought an aluminium apple keyboard (wired) and I thought it would very easy to get it worked on my OSX (XxX 10.5.6) but I've got a lot of problems : sometimes at OSX boot, the keyboard does not work, I need to unplug it and plug it again. And sometimes, it stops working few minutes later ! I've no other issues with all my other USB devices. I've tried to plug the keyboard on other USB ports, but with no luck. And when the keyboard stops working, all other devices are still working.

I've also tried to disable USB Legacy support in Bios, and even to unplug all other USB devices. Not really better, sometimes it works sometimes not.

Any clue ?
