DMJC
Grabbed two random alc660-vd drivers which claimed to work and combined them and it actually worked. Don't know why it worked specifically so I am posting the driver here for other Asus f9s users. Microphone, headphones etc ALL work. titooo1
Thanks. Everything works now on my Asus F3JC. It seems that there are several kexts for ALC660-VC and the others didn't give me volume adjustment control neither mic. This one give me this features! PD: Asus F3JC can have two different sound devices: ALC861 or ALC660-VD I had ALC861 (out of the box), but Asus replaced my motherboard and now it seems I have ALC660-VD (almost out of the box, as the mic seems to work too low) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122036-alc660-vd-working-on-asus-f9s-laptop/#findComment-885032 Share on other sites
