thewierdone2000 Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 Hey all, On my hackintosh if I select shut down from the apple menu, it goes through a typical shutdown routine. After the screen turns off, and the hard drives turn off (I can hear them wind down) the case lights and fans stay on. If I select restart, it restarts successfully. Any help would be great! Thanks! lookingson Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 I have got the same Problem. My Girlfriend made a normal shutdown, but the Computer stayed on all night long. Tried some different extensions, but nothing worked yet. This Problem occurred after updating to 10.5.4, so this isnt a hardware thing. (yes, i know that we do so) this hackintosh works nearly fine! only the wifi and the shutdown. acer extensa 5620z... anyone got this model with working wifi?...
