~pcwiz
Hi, I'm looking for a Wireless G USB Dongle for OS X Leopard, preferrably around the $20-$35 price range. Any suggestions? Synaesthesia
Can't you use a PCI or mini-pci then? Here's one the Asus WL-167g Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121999-wireless-g-usb-dongle-for-leopard/#findComment-864389 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
Preferrably USB. I'm planning to install this in a Power Mac G4 and I don't wanna mess with the insides That dongle looks great, but is it Mac compatible? Only Red Hat and Windows are listed. EDIT: According to this it works, but might have to look into it a bit more Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121999-wireless-g-usb-dongle-for-leopard/#findComment-864497 Share on other sites
Synaesthesia
I used the wiki's and such, and searched Insanelymac. BTW the Asus WL-138G V2 is an internal PCI graphics card that works perfectly as an Airport express on a hackintosh, or a Mac! I own 2 and I can attest - it works perfectly! Check it out: (oooh, bad review for the WL-167G dongle on 2nd page! my bad!) http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-repli...cfm/972656.html http://forums.mactalk.com.au/12/37414-wire...machines-3.html http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductRevie...;=100&Page= (seach for the word "mac" in the Newegg page) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121999-wireless-g-usb-dongle-for-leopard/#findComment-864747 Share on other sites
