homers Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Hi I currently have a Creative X-FI X-Treme Music which I think is good but it does not work with mac. I use it with Windows and use my motherboards built in audio for mac. I was wondering whether there are any better sound cards than this creative card that also work with Mac OS X? bonk13 Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 PCI cards: RME HDSP 9632 works out of the box. I hear that Lynx cards work as well. This is $500+ hardware, but they are definitely better than Creative stuff.
