ultramagus
I have only 1 hd with two partitions, the first of 100GB with Windows Vista and the second partition (the rest of the hd) with my files. I like to install OSX in first partition (erasing the Windows) and keep the second partition with the files. Is this possible? NOTE: the partitions are NTFS, if possible install OSX can read my files in the second partition? This is the setup of my pc: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHZ Motherboard Asus P5k-Premium Black Pearl 2 Radeon Hd 4850 512 Mb in Crossfire 4 Kingston DDR2 800 Mhz de 2gb HD Seagate 1000GB 32MB SATA II DVD (IDE) Keyboard and mouse Microsoft Desktop 5000 Wireless Laser It is advisable to install OSX on it? I am very interested in OSX. Sorry for my bad english. Gujal
You dont need anything extra installed to read NTFS partition. However if you want to write to NTFS partition, then you need MacFUSE and NTFS-3G Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121862-keep-the-second-ntfs-partition-setup-pc/#findComment-862392 Share on other sites
