I don't have anything usb, or firewire other than mouse, and keyboard, and iPod, so that's not an issue. I might look into wireless, so and I'm not going to use all 4 ethernet ports, but I'm purely looking for what is the most compatable. I am trying to keep it all from newegg, so if you want to suggesto soemthing better in that price range from newegg, go for it. Thanks! davasse Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 I got a P5K Premium and everything is working out of the box (IDE, SATA, audio, USB, everything!), just need to install Realtek 8187 driver for the integrated wireless lan device and it's ok. I recommend this choice. sly55 Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 on efi-x homepage is a list of their compatible mobos, which makes me think that these mobos are as well compatible with os x without efi-x the GA-EP45-DQ6 is also available and IMHO the best board to date! 2x PCI 2.0, Audio compatible, supports 45nm, 4 gigabit lans, many sata, what do you want more!
