Gidi
So, I have a perfect leo retail install on my GA-DS3R. The only issue I'm having now is that I can't use the keyboard / mouse to wake up my computer from sleep. I select sleep from the apple menu, and it sleeps, but to wake up I need to use the power button. I have an apple aluminium usb keyboard connected directly to the rear USB. I think I tried all the USB connectors of my board. Is there anybody waking up from mouse / keyboard with this board? bazz38
Are you sure it's supposed to work with your keyboard? Don't know if real Macs can do that.. One question; how fast is your wake from sleep? I have the same mobo, but it's like 10 seconds before it's woken. It should be instant, so i'm wondering if it's the motherboard or power supply. Thanks! Gidi
Yes, on real Macs you can wake up them by clicking the mouse button or pushing any key on keyboard. Also, I think here are some people waking from them in OSX86, so maybe is just a missconfig in my setup. When I push the power button, it wakes up in 1 - 2 sec, so maybe you have a problem there. bazz38
Ok, didn't know that - thanks for the info. Gidi
I had some problems with overclocking when waking up from sleep because of my memory. I changed them and all issues went. Still having the issue wich I can't wake up my system with USB devices. Cheers! giocomo
Look in your POWER MANAGEMENT settings in BIOS, there should be options to enable computer wake-up by mouse, keyboard, lan, etc ... check if its enabled. peach-os
Look in your POWER MANAGEMENT settings in BIOS, there should be options to enable computer wake-up by mouse, keyboard, lan, etc ... check if its enabled. tried to do this on my GA-EP45-DS - it didn´t change anything. on my pw5 DH it´s waking from keyboard and mouse. both machines are connected to an apple aluminium keyboard and a mighty mouse Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121722-ga-ds3r-wake-up-from-sleep/#findComment-889947 Share on other sites
Leoopardoo
Have no problems to sleep and then wake up by keyboard (but not mouse) or power button - all instantly and with vanilla AppleSMBIOS.kext. However using Bad Axe 2 mobo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121722-ga-ds3r-wake-up-from-sleep/#findComment-890609 Share on other sites
