  1. It's great to see you still around here, d00d. Didn't you upgrade your system? I didn't and its working fine since 2009...

Why OpenGL is so slow in GTX480? I haven't been able to play Portal 2 or L4D on OSX without stuttering since I had my GTX285.

Got it. Patched AppleHDA for GTX480 HDMI audio support. For more info read here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1448833

Does anyone have audio through HDMI? I tried to edit DSDT on-board audio, and binpatched AppleHDA with the audio controller ID without any luck.

SLI rigs may work too, 2x480 here without issues, injected via DSDT.

Be careful when using intensive 3D on these cards. Fans don't raise up their spinning rate, making the card extremely hot. Mine was more than 100ºC when it began to make screen artifacts. Now I changed it back to 285. Don't kill your GTX!!
  7. aschar, thank you so much for uploading your DSDT. I was able to fix my _WAK method by looking at yours and now S3, restart, shutdown are working again %) Cheers!
  8. Could I have your dsdt to make a diff? This is so strange!

I want to boot with 2xGTX480. With Chameleon's GraphicsEnabler there is no luck. Any help, please?
  10. 10.6.5 breaks my S3 sleep / powerdown / reset

Is it normal that using aqua-mac installer & GTX480 I just get about 150FPS in OpenGL Extensions Viewer and many of my games work worse than with my old GTX285? Cheers!

    AnVAL (ACPI Loader)

Valv, the section related to generation of C-States can be found inside: /Chameleon/Chameleon-Mozodojo/i386/libsaio/acpi_patcher.c Cheers!
  13. Updated to F7t and it seems to fix my wake up from S3 sleep on 10.6.4. Redumped my dsdt and is all nice now. d00d: I want to have minimal dsdt, which devices are safe to remove? Already deleted JMB0, FDC0 and PS2M. My score got a great improvement
  14. d00d: After spending all the weekend with the S3 wake up problem, I agree with you, 10.6.4 breaks it for some reason. I did a clean 10.6.3 install in a spare hard drive, and it slept / woke up without any reset problems until I installed combo 10.6.4 update to it. I have a copy of vanilla 10.6.3 kexts, but this is very hard to trace down for me
