Jackal23
I am using the guide from http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=76404 (Not the raid one) I have used both Chamelon and EFI following the guide. The firsthard drive is MBR with windows the second is GUID/MBR withe the first 200MB Mac EFI (Whatever mac creates) then 26Gb with Ubuntu. I have an external hard drive with OS X 10.5.1 iAktos. So i follow the guide install OS X then update and run the post patch. restart boot using GRUB get Somethinng about darwin bootlader its really fast then a white screen with the apple logo pops up, then the computer restarts. All this is very quick. If I boot the hard drive using the BIOS same error. I have used Chamelen and PC_EFI (Installing it Before OS X) and it still is exactly the same. What do I do? MagicWTF
please rephrase that, it was a bit hard to figure out what you're asking >.< and certain distros work on certain machines, chameleon may just not be for you, if you have Iaktos working too I'd just stick to that Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121598-cant-boot-retail-os-x/#findComment-860355 Share on other sites
Jackal23
I am trying to install Retial so I get all those extras iAKTOS doesn't have. I have used both Chamelon and EFI. When booting The white screen loads then my computer restarts. EFI boots it is something wrong with the installation. So I want to know how to get it to boot corectly.
