Urbz Posted March 15, 2006 Share Posted March 15, 2006 Well i still have 10.4.3 and i want the latest! i have the original, unpatched, 10.4.4 dvd. Thing is, all i find are other DVDs. Can i patch this all the way up to .5? and could someone HINT at what torrents to look at? also, will i be able to upgrade from .3? thanks, Urbz! I tried one patch solution(the autopatcher script wich needs 10 gigs of hard drive space) but I had no luck with it. I have the restore dvd and I want to patch it to get it working. As I saw on the forums and on torrent sites I know that there isn't any ppf patch that will make the restore disk to work till the present time. So there must be someone doing it right now I hope. There is also MYZAR patch that works with a preliminary dvd release (3.3 gig image wich I don't have time to download) that works out of the box. There are maybe some issues arownd it but I know that those are minor. Try to find the myzar solution on Demonoid. In the nfo file you will have a link to the preliminary dvd or you can just downlad the final release. Urbz Posted March 18, 2006 Author Share Posted March 18, 2006 For anyone else who happens to be in my situation, i have chosen the following from Demonoid: "MacOSX 10.4.4DVD Final ppf with 10.4.5 update" by myzar. It is 209.43 MB in size. From it's description, it looks like it will convert my 10.4.4 DVD to a 10.4.5 fully patched DVD. Will post my success if anyone's interested...
