hacbookpro
Personally I have higher fps in WoW on mac than on Windows, so I suggest you check if your OpenGL.framework folder and videocard kexts to see if there are other versions. emmab2k6
hi there. im using iDeneb 10.5.4 i just installed the drivers from that. i did try another driver. but for some reason it recognises my cards as being a 7300 gs but that isnt the case. i have an XPS m1530 with a 8600m gt 256mb , i get 20fps in wow full settings. but in windows i get 100+ , is there any driver i need? or anything i can do to improve it? or does this card just perform badly on osx86. thanks all help appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121464-wow-slow/#findComment-861279 Share on other sites
cyclonefr
heard some people were having problems with Dell lappies where the card was "asleep". After putting the system to sleep and waking up, it'd restore the gfx card to its normal speed. So try that PS: you need a kernel that supports sleep to sleep or just use vanilla kernel if you can. You need to use NVinstaller for nvidia card that has more than 128MB memory. You can get the file from here Try it, hopefully it could solve your problem.
