jjwilliams
I've installed Mac OS X on previous PC's that were real old so I'm not completely new to the topic. I've been reading the site up and down and feel I that I have worked up some parts that should work fine. From what I've read once I get it working it should be smooth sailing from there (hopefully). Let me know if there are other motherboards I should consider that would be better for using Mac OS X. Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP35C-DS3R Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz RAM: I plan on using 4GB of the DDR2/850, I figured Mac OS X will recognize that just fine. Graphics: EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600 GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI From what I can tell this card works fine after some elbow grease. The hard drive and dvd burner will all be sata. Let me know what you guys think. I feel it should work with a little effort. shakazulu1
Hey man, did you have any luck getting this setup to work? I'm thinking about getting that exact motherboard and CPU, but using DDR3 RAM and a GeForce 8800 instead. All drives SATA as well. I'm curious to know how it worked out for you.
